Set 8: Mirrors, Electricity, Circuits & Electromagnets by Young Scientists Club continues the study of physics by diving more deeply into 3 science kits. Young Scientists will learn about convex mirrors, concave mirrors, and reflections. After learning the mysteries of mirrors, scientists will make a secret code and perform a mirror trick. Then have an electrifying experience with the next kit! The basics of electricity are taught using balloons, batteries, and wires. Insulators, conductors, light bulbs, and light bulb holders are used to design circuits and an on-off switch. Finally the Circuits & Electromagnets kit expands on what was learned in Electricity. Young Scientists use their knowledge of electricity to make an electromagnet and a circuit maze. Your young scientist will complete this kit with a self-designed one-eyed monster!
